North Campus or South Campus or Off Campus?
Well the pressure is running high at the forefront with the entire world showering admission advice on you. Now I’ve gone through this and know how daunting the admission process can be so let me guide you through the steps to come while you get drowned in the phone calls leading up to the results.
If you’ve already checked your result then chances are that you’re already contemplating the colleges you could possibly get into and fighting the battle of choice between college over course, well we’ve all had our share of confusion there but fret not there is more than a single cut off for colleges (well for most colleges) and if you’re running the SRCC league or perhaps the high cut off courses then I suggest you still secure your backup option while you wait for second or the third cut off to release as mostly colleges close off earlier.
Following is the DU Admission schedule for registrations and cutoffs:
• Online registrations are already live – 22nd May – 12th June 2017
Please note: Registering is extremely important as applications to colleges can only be accepted once the candidate has been registered with the DU portal (online or offline)
• First Cut Off – 20th June – 22nd June 2017
• Second Cut Off – 24th June – 28th June 2017
• Third Cut Off – 1st July – 4th July 2017
• Fourth Cut Off – 7th July – 10th July 2017
• Fifth Cut Off – 13th July – 15th July 2017
• Sixth Cut Off – 18th July – 19th July 2017
While we cannot assume the cut offs for this year, we surely can make references from the past to get an idea on what to expect if the trend remains the same. Enlisted below is the first cut off list of DU Admissions 2016. The actual list this year may vary.
Admission process can be intimidating at times but whatever said and done all colleges offer an experience of their own which you would come to cherish upon sooner than later. It would not matter after those three years what decision you made, so put on a smile while you enter the next phase of your life and well I almost forgot: Congratulations, you’re officially a half adult now! (yeah parents get to still have a say in your Goa plans)
